Life is full of let downs. You cannot avoid it. What is the
most human response to let down. Revenge? Hatred? Anger? What is your deepest
feeling when it comes to someone letting you down? It’s easy to hate someone,
but it’s harder to TRULY forgive someone. It involves you telling someone, “you
have wronged me and I’m going to work through forgiving you” Can we truly in
our right mind forgive someone. Some people say you can through your on power.
I wonder what might happen if we allowed God to control our emotions and truly
be Christ like. I mean he forgave Peter, John, and his followers for letting
him down in the Garden. He forgave Peter after Peter denied him. He forgave
Paul for killing his people. He forgave Israel time and time again. He forgave
you. Col 3:13 “bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against
another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must
forgive” not only are we to forgive one another, but we are to forgive as
Christ forgave us.
Which is tougher, forgiving someone or forgiving
them as Christ Forgave us? Most would say forgiving them as Christ Forgave us.
There Correct in that, but we have to forgive someone before we can forgive
like Christ.
Forgiving like Christ means that you will
hold nothing against them, you will not have a malice thought about them, and
you will have compassion toward your brother and sisters, and most of all you
will love them despite whatever they have done toward you. Can you do that? Is that
the impossible question?
21Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my
brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” 22Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven
times, but seventy times seven. (Matt 18:21-22)
Seriously Jesus, Seven
Times Seventy times? That’s impossible Jesus; I can’t do that math without a
calculator.
You know God has forgiving
us much more. More than that. Every time we screw up, he says I forgive you. He
had to send his son to the cross, and after I nailed him to the cross, after I spit
in his face time and time again he continually says I forgive you. That’s not
fair! I should have to pay more dearly for my stupidity! I’m not tough enough
to be this stupid! God so evident in his grace continually says “For grace you
have been saved not through your works Jason, through my son are you forgiven”
I don’t understand this God
thing, I don’t know why he loves me and cherishes me and seeks after me time
and time again! He does and he absolutely loves me and you! What more could God
do through me if I allowed him to work in my life…I could love and cherish
people! I could have the same compassion he had towards people.
My final question is which
is harder “Him to forgive us or Us to forgive one another”
Will we do whatever it
takes to make it right?

Praise the Lord that through my tough times, i can still praise him and i can still feel his Holy Spirit working in me! God is all powerful! He is so amazing in no matter what circumstance God is amazing! I have fallen in Love with God all over again! I can sing his praise i can lift up his holy name! He is worthy of praise and he is worthy of my worship! Im not worthy enough to give it too him!
In v.19 He does what's best for those who fear him— hears them call out, and saves them.
My God does what he pleases but what he pleases is always the best for me! He knows me more than i know my own self! He knows what i truly need, and that is more of him! My God is mighty to save! Save me from my sins, my troubles, my stumbles, my defeats, my victories, he is my savior even in my good times, the times when im on cloud nine! God is a magnificent God! Through it all he is a magnificent God! Man when pain comes and when pain is kicking my tail, God always pulls me through! the short time i go through pain, is the long time im overcome with peace and comfort!
What ever God does, whether we have the answers or not! He will see us through it! my life quote, "It God brings you to it, he will always bring you through it!"
What im learning right now is that i have to quit being pessimistic and be more optimistic! In the words of Morgane East "You need to drink a big cup of Optimism", in that God is showing me that Love covers all my discouragement! So when i get into that mind set that God's Love is covering me, i dont have anything to be downcast about! Its a learning process!
God is my all in all! He will always be! Change is coming in my life! I AM MOLDABLE!!! I am surrendering it all! Im giving up the life i once knew to pursue the life God has for me! My focus is him!

Trials and Errors
I hope that through my life that i would start to understand the concept that God is the ultimate friend! We think that being a Christian he is but we dont really grasp that! We see has as the Savior that forgave us for our sins, and that he is the ultimate lover! The bible tells us many times, God is not only this ultimate Savior and Lover! He is the ultimate friend! He is always there for us! Giving us protection and giving us a safe place to rest when the stresses of life just continue to beat on us and continue to slam us!
Romans 5:10
10 While we were God's enemies, he made us his friends through the death of his Son. Surely, now that we are his friends, he will save us through his Son's life.
Romans 5:11
11 And not only that, but now we are also very happy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we are now God's friends again.

I want to continue my relationship with him, but not just as communication, i want to be so in love with this Savior that everything this world calls me to live will never be a desire! God is the only one that can show me that! God is just amazing!

I AM SO IN LOVE WITH YOU
My heart has been not only stretch this past week but my heart has been tested! My Relationship with God has been so ultimately tested. Satan is the author and perfecter of confusion and hate! HE HATES ME!!! its so evident! he never wants me to be happy, he doesnt want my relationships to be great! he wants to ultimately destroy everything that is good!! It seems like that God is letting the chaos happen! sometimes i feel like the psalmist in 74:10 How long will the enemy mock you, O God? Will the foe revile your name forever? and in Psalms 4:1 Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer. God How long must you continue to let him destroy all my happiness and faith! God i need your mighty Hand to take him away! I need you in my life and i can't handle the consist battle with him! he has wore me out and he has beaten me down!! im reaching out for you God!! God come through, release me from this pain!! Father be the light of my Salvation!! God show yourself like you did the psalmist

Where im at?
You know so many times i think to myself, where am i going to be in 10 years, 20 years, 30 years. I remember our first night of Deviate College, i was staring out the glass door of the church, thinking to myself where am i going to be at in 5 months! well here i am...haha. Sometimes i think that im in over my head but there are other times when i feel so confident im doing what God has called me to do!
What i notice about Youth Ministry is this, there is no secure job. Many things can happen, the church turns there back on you, church economics may go to crap, someone spreads rumors about you that could be un-true, and you could lose a wife because she couldnt handle the ministry lifestyle! I believe that God has not only called Youth Ministers to a full life of service, but i also believe that he has called the wife and kids into the ministry as well. My greatest fear is that my wife will leave me based on my lifestyle, a totally random life. Things happen that sometimes you just gotta go! Student has an accident and is in the hospital, Church Family member dies, Got so much work to get done before the end of the month, the pastor may have a serious situation that has happened and needs your help, and etc. So much happens, that the wife has to be ready for and the kids have to be ready for! I feel that we lose the picture in the end, The husband/wife loses connection with one another because of all the circumstances that has happened! Wives, Husbands, and Childern need to be aware of what is at stake!
I love my students to death, there the best high school kids ever! I will take a bullet for them! Are there certain ones that do push my paitence well of course there is but i loves those jokers all the same! im tryin to get all them involved with the ministry, so that they can have a part in it all. Eric, he is media guy; Chris, he is Guy Leader; Kayla, is the girl leader; James Glass is our Chalker(writes annoucements and prayer request on the chalkboard); our adult leaders are Mrs Kem, Mrs Goble, and Mr Darrell, and also Zach Lowery helps out! What i love doing is hanging out with my students, i play ping pong with them, ill sit at subway and have a chat with them, ill stand outside and talk to them! I want to be involved in there lives, so much that i want them to call me first if anything ever happens in there life! Well two of my students went yard rolling and the cops got called and one of them called me and told me all about it! i loved it!! it was so exciting!! i just love being with those guys!!!
